BEIJING – Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has sent a message to Sonexay Siphandone to congratulate him on assuming the post of Laos' prime minister.
In the message on Tuesday, Li said that China and Laos are friendly neighbors linked by mountains and rivers.

With the joint efforts of both sides, the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and Laos has been continuously deepened, bringing tangible benefits to the two countries and their people, Li said.
