Xi Jinping's reelection as president of China is the will of the people as under his leadership, the country will achieve the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, National People's Congress deputies said on Friday.

Xi was unanimously elected president of the People's Republic of China and chairman of the Central Military Commission on Friday at the ongoing session of the 14th National People's Congress.

"Under Xi's leadership, we are more confident about the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation," said Liu Qing, a deputy with the Jiangsu province delegation and president of the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute.

Our votes are the choices of the people who all believe in Xi (Jinping) from the bottom of their hearts. I believe that under the new central leadership headed by Xi, people can become more united and contribute more to making the country more prosperous.
